This video entails basically my memory of every place that I’ve taught this dance at. Fortunately many of the places that brought me out allowed me to teach 2 or more classes so I was able to teach them this one and another dance of mine. I taught this dance so many times because I really enjoyed teaching it. There was some aspect in teaching this dance that made me connect with the dancers in the class more. As I taught it more I kept changing and adding onto it that my finished product wasn’t up until the last couple of classes that I’ve taught this dance. I loved how differently each individual performed it, and I think it’s always fun to bring out one’s intimate side when dancing. =)

Thank you to ALL of the dancers that have been a part of this dance with me, you’ve helped bring this dance to life and allowed me to see how much fun it was to teach this dance. Also, I’ve noticed that I’ve yet to ever put up a “class” video, well hopefully this makes up for lost time! I love every class that I’ve ever been a part of whether it be teaching or taking. East Lansing, Michigan! I didn’t forget about you guys, I didn’t capture any good videos of the class to use (people’s heads were cut off lol) so I couldn’t put any up, but just know you all aren’t forgotten!

By the way in case you all were wondering, the kid dancing with me at Boogiezone is just 10 years old. Name is Ryan Phuong, the future. LOL

So it’s official, “The Drops” are now made public and I am officially selling them wherever I travel to. “The Drops” are the sweatpants designed by my friend Bra’Kehri Frazier (Art) and him and I have teamed together to start production and allow for another type of sweatpants to be introduced for people to wear! They’re my favorite sweatpants lol. But we’re not selling them online anywhere just yet, the only way we selling them as of now is face to face. So if I’m coming to a city near you, come get them from me! And if not, just come and hang out with me =)

So, it’s been about a month since I’ve put up anything new. I wanted to do this piece because I actually just came across the song while going through my old playlist of the songs I’ve choreo’ed to like 5 years ago. I was really feelin the song so I decided to just go ahead and remake the choreography. I feel like this piece portrays a different type of movement than how I usually move when creating my pieces. But anyways! I got two of my brother’s from The ArchiTEKS to perform it with me, shoutout to Brian Puspos and Pat Lam and the rest of the ArchiTEKS ladies and gentlemen. Until next month! ;)

The approach to this video was outside of my usual zone. The feel of my piece as well, I wanted to dance differently to this particular song and not worry about anything.

I wanted to make this short and sweet =)
This is the first time I’ve done a video in this way and it was really fun making the whole thing up. It was the perfect time to the perfect song because Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and what better way to dance it than in front of my valentine =)

The theme behind this all is:
Serenading via Dancing.
After going out on a date with your gf/bf/wife/husband/etc, especially on Valentines day or an anniversary, sometimes you just want to give your partner a whisper in the ear and say “Yo, I’m gonna dance for you” LOL jk. But that is what this video is trying to portray.

So this is the first time I’ve done a video like this. Working with Dance Generation Studios has been something else =) In such a short amount of time I’ve become really close to the people here and many more in Australia. I have these guys and gals to thank and everyone has been nothing below amazing to me.
